Has Ihedioha abandoned the Umeadi case against Hope Uzodinma?

There are indications, that the former Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, may have given up hope in the Nigerian judicial system, and may have turned his back on the Philip Umeadi SAN case against Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Govenror of Imo State, as stated by the Supreme Court, in it’s very controversial ruling in February of 2020.

Latest reports from the Nation, indicates that Ihedioha have started making plans to the 2023 General Election, as it was reported that he has started oiling his campaign machinery, in readiness for the battle to grab the party’s ticket for the 2023 General Elections.

There are those who believe it is a second option, and very hopeful that Umeadi will be able to get justice, but Ihedioha is clearly not sitting on the oars, or may have lost faith in the Surpreme Court to right their wrong, and has probably gone ahead to prepare on time for 2023.

It’s expected that he will have an even stiffer fight for the ticket in 2023. Other likely contenders to the ticket have yet to reveal themselves, but his closest rival in the 2019 primaries, Senator Samuel Anyanwu SamDaddy, is believed to still have an eye on the ticket.
