Law Suit: Defected PDP House Members Cry TO Uzodinma For Protection

While the suit against the PDP members who defected to the APC is gradually coming to an end, the affected members have begun to seek Governor Uzodinma’s protection so as to scale through the impending huddle.

Apart from six House of Assembly members elected under the platform of the PDP, others decamped to APC immediately Uzodinma was declared winner of the march 9 Governorship election held in Imo by the supreme Court.

Upon their defection, the leadership of the PDP in Imo under which platform they were elected, took them to court, challenging the legality or otherwise of their defection

Source from the Government revealed that some of the said. Members appealed with the Governor to come to their aide having abandoned their old political party the PDP in solidarity to him.
