Nwawuba Retrains Mbaike Science Teachers
A 2day training and retraining program of Mbaike Science Teachers, sponsored by the member representing Mbaitoli-Ikeduru Federal Constituency Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba, has just ended with unprecedented milestones attained.
In a bid to continually build the capacities of Mbaike Science teachers, and the need to improve the teaching and learning of Science Subjects in Secondary Schools in Mbaike, Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba, thought it very expedient to engaged the Scientific Equipment Development Institute (SEDI) Enugu, to retrain Mbaike Science Teachers on contemporary science innovations and apparatus, new methodologies, and skills of teaching science subjects, in a broader but, simple perspective.
Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba while addressing the teachers, enjoined them to make judicious use of the opportunity given them to improve themselves, and add values to the teaching and learning of Science Subjects, and the overall quality of education in Mbaike in particular, and Imo State in general.
The teachers expressed immense gratitude to Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba for encouraging them and giving them the opportunity to benefit from the training program. They promised to transfer the knowledge gained from the training to their colleagues in various schools, at the same time guaranteed to impact their newly acquired knowledge on their students.
At the end of the training, each of the participants were rewarded with honorarium while the participated schools were given a three hundred thousand naira (N300,000) worth of science kits.
