Governor Nyesom Wike has eased the 24-hour curfew he imposed in Oyigbo local government area in Rivers state.
According to a statement released, the curfew will now be from 7 pm to 6 am.
The curfew was imposed following the clash between security agents and hoodlums who hijacked the #EndSARS protest in Rivers state.
In the statement released by the Office of the Governor, the Rivers State Security Council met on November 3rd & reviewed the curfew in Oyigbo LGA.
So, conclusively, from Wednesday November 4th, the curfew in Oyigbo LGA will be from 7 pm to 6 and efforts to recover over 50 riffles stolen from burnt Police stations and killed security personnel will be maintained.
