2018 Imo ALGON: Forgive me for taking the wrong step, I was ill advised- Ihedioha begs Imo ALGON
The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general election in Imo state; Chief Emeka Ihedioha has alarmed he was wrongly advised by some of his overzealous aides to suspend elected Local Government officers.
Chief Emeka Ihedioha while speaking to one of the suspended Local government vice chairmen from Mbaike Federal constituency of Imo state not that the Imo ALGON made a very big mistake by not going back to work immediately he was sacked by the supreme court.
Chief Ihedioha said: “by law, every decision taken by me as it then were are void immediately I was ousted by the supreme court of Nigeria. As such, I expected you all to return back to your respective offices that same day of the pronouncement”.
Chief Ihedioha claimed that some persons who wanted to become principal officers of the state house of assembly masterminded the suspension process and saw to it’s execution.
“Imo state is for all of us and we all are stakeholders. I have learnt some lessons from my experience within the few months I served, where I got it right and where I got it wrong. If given an opportunity now to be Imo state Governor, Imo state and Imolites will rejoice all through as we all will work together to make things work.
If Ihedioha really made that statement credited to him, i will say he is shameless.
My word is my bound in deed.
