Okigwe Bye-Election: I Will Support Uzodinma To Better Imo -Araraume
Senator Ifeanyi Godwin Araraume has posited that he would work with the Imo State governor Senator Hope Uzodinma to attract what belongs to Okigwe zone if he wins the forthcoming Senatorial by election slated to hold on 5th of December,2020.
Senator Araraume who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, stated this as he toured the width and breadth of Imo North Senatorial district.
The Campaign train under the headship of a former Commissioner for Works and Transport in Imo State, Hon. Peter Ezenwa Orji was on Tuesday at Ihitte Uboma local government area to canvass for votes.
The train had the first point of call at Uboma political block before finishing the day at Ihitte to sell the candidate to the electorates.
Prominent political leaders who led the campaign in the area were Lady Chidinma Uwajumogu, Hon. Mark Uchendu. The duo were aspirants in the primary election. Others included Hon. Uche Ejiogu, among others.
In the same vein, Wednesday 25th november was at Isiala Mbano Local government area. The council with three clans were also visited differently.
In Isiala Mbano, it moved from Ugiri as voters converged at Nkwo Mbaa civic center to receive the Imo North Senator hopeful.
Former Honourable member represented the state constituency Hon. Simon Iwunze called on the people to come out en mass on 5th December to vote Araraume, adding Araraume’s presence in the Senate will benefit the people.
Mbama was the second point of call where the people of the clan received the campaign team at Amaraku Central school while Anara played host to entire Osu clan.
Addressing the mammoth crowd who were in high spirit to receive him, Senator Araraume promised a quality and efective representation the governor’s relationship if elected the Senator, adding that he would be a strong voice in the Senate for the people of the area.
He pointed out that the state would feel the Impact having two Senators from the state elected under the platform of APC.
