Okigwe Zone Senate: FHC Abuja charges Ibezim for perjury
…bars him from contesting any political post for life

The Federal Hgh Court in Abuja on Friday, Dec.4th 2020 charged Hon. Frank Ibezim for perjury.
The court in its judgment delivered in Abuja also bared Hon.Ibezim from holding any position or contesting election henceforth.
Meanwhile, Hon.SIR FRANK IBEZIM has won at the Appeal Court Owerri, today (Nov.4th 2020).
History was made at Court of Appeal Owerri as Hon. Sir Frank Ibezim pronounced by Appeal Court as APC authenticate candidate for the Dec.5th 2020 Okigwe North Senatorial Bye-Election.
In an unanimous judgement the three (3) Justices of the Court of Appeal upheld Sir Frank Ibezim’s Appeal, while setting aside the Judgment of the Federal High Court earlier delivered on the 6th November, 2020.
By that Court of Appeal judgment, INEC have been mandated to restore the Name of Sir Frank Ibezim as the only and authenticate APC candidate for the December, 5th 2020 Senatorial Bye Election.
However, the lead counsel to Sir.Ibezim, Dr. C. C. Nwadigo, who is one of Appellant’s/ Interveners legal team member, expressed satisfaction upon the victory bestowed by the court for Ibezim as the rightful candidate for the byepolls.
The 3-man Judges are Hon.Justice U.Onyemenam, Hon.Hon.Justice J.Y. Tukur and Hon.Justice M.B.Idris.
