Breaking: We didn’t Sign any Letter for Araraume’s expulsion from our Party – 13 Imo APC Lawmakers allege

As Imolites condemn a purported letter said to have been a resolution of some members of the Imo state house of Assembly -APC caucus, where it is alleged that about 20 Imo APC lawmakers called for the expulsion of Sen. Ifeanyi Araraume from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Not fewer than 13 APC lawmakers today on separate interviews by coalition of Imo fact finders (an independent league of journalists) have disowned the said letter.
One of the Lawmakers (name withheld) from Orlu zone noted that he was very surprised seeing the publication on social media with his name included as one of the signatories while he never had any discussion of sort with anyone.
Another Lawmaker from the federal constituency of the Imo state Governor urged Imolites to disregard the publication, noting that it is fake as no such discussion ever emanated in the APC lawmakers caucus meeting last held on Friday last weekend.
One of the Principal officer of the state House of Assembly said the letter was forged by one of the over zealous but clueless principal officer who thinks he has the monopoly of doing whatever he likes having the backing of the Governor.
The 13 lawmakers we visited this morning all condemned the publication saying it will further endanger the unity of APC in the state and that as stakeholders of the Party, they will never support such move of disunity.
“Those infant Lawmakers claiming to be Mr. Capacity this and that are yet to understand that legislature isn’t same as business of their so called Gee”, an Owerri APC Lawmaker exclaimed.
A Communique had emerged, supposedly signed by 20 APC lawmakers of the Imo Assembly, calling for the expulsion of Senator Ifeanyi Araraume.
