You’re unpopular – Araraume blasts Hope Uzodinma

Senator Ararume has called on the leadership of the APC to subject Governor Hope Uzodinma to disciplinary action in line with the party’s constitution.

This is even as he described him as an unpopular Governor after accusing of asking his loyalists in APC to vote for the PDP candidate in the Okigwe bye-election held on December 5.

In a press release signed by Araraume’s media team and made available to lead, Ararume who was reacting to the out-come of the said election held in Okigwe revealed that PDP was able to come second with a big margin was a result of the instruction of the governor to his few loyalists in Okigwe to vote for the PDP, an act he described as anti-party.

Araraume who accused Uzodinma of planning to destroy the APC in Imo with the intent to go back to the PDP where he joined the APC in 2018 revealed that the said Uzodinma lost his own federal constituency, the Orlu Federal Constituency to PDP at the bye-election held in the constituency as a sitting Governor adding that he Ararume won his own Federal constituency for the APC on the same day and the same time.

On the winner of the election, Ararume enjoined INEC to declare him the winner of the polls while describing himself as the candidate of the APC by virtue of both the party’s primaries and the court orders and judgment.

INEC has in the last Saturday’s bye-election of Okigwe zone, declared the APC as a political party winner returning no candidate.

This however followed the spate of judgment for and against the candidates of the party
