Buhari’s Burnt Campaign Vehicle, Villagers prepare to send Monarch to Prison
The people of Umueze Mbieri seem not to be happy with their Eze; Sir Peter Opara. He is alleged to have shot dead a son of his community some time in 2018 which resulted to the mass action of having his Palace burnt down and Villagers denouncing him as the Eze of Umueze till date even though some political traders are still parading him as Eze.
The alleged killing of the son of Mr. Uche Opara by Eze Peter Opara was a matter that the entire village of Umueze in Umuomumu Amaike Mbieri followed up till he was remanded and later released through the effort of Former IMO Deputy Governor Eze Madumere and Co.
Again in 2018, 1st October, the same Eze Peter Opara allegedly gave his vehicle to hoodlums who attacked the Vice Chairman of Mbaitoli LGA, Councillors and Umuahii APC faithfuls during the APC primaries which took place at Umuahii Mbieri, having the campaign vehicle of President Muhammadu Buhari (sienna) and one other Bus set ablaze by the hoodlums.
The said vehicle allegedly belonging to Eze Peter Opara was said to have been driven by his driver Mr. Uneze who was allegedly captured on camera with 3 other thugs armed with Pump-action rifles.
Some of the eye witnesses, APC party faithfuls and policemen involved in the matter having read a report credited to Peter Opara’s move for compensation, have decided to prepare their legal team with evidences to have Eze Peter Opara pay for the vehicles his alleged sponsored thugs set ablaze in Umuahii.
The youths of Umueze said they have not forgotten the 14 padlocks tied with different names of Umueze indigenes discovered under Eze Peter’s bed during the destruction exercise that took place in his palace the day he shot dead their fellow youth in the village.
“We are preparing our legal team to demand for Justice once and for all”, the Youths exclaimed.
