Iroko slams, Uzodinma, Araraume over allegations of collusion

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, and Director General of Imo Liberation Movement, Chief Emeka Nwokeke (Iroko), has slammed Senator Hope Uzodinma and Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, over their comments, that members of their respective factions of the APC, worked for the PDP during the Okigwe Senate Bye-Election.

Senator Ifeanyi Araraume had fired the first shot, accusing Hope Uzodinma of working with the PDP during the election.

Uzodinma had in turn, accused Araraume of frustrating the APC, and colluding with the PDP.

Iroko described their accusations and counter accusations, ad deceitful, fallacious and unfortunate.

The former students leader while addressing journalists in Owerri, stated that Araraume’s attack at Uzodinma, was a ruse intended to create an impression that he owed Okigwe zone, or that Okigwe zone was APC.

He maintained that Araraume was no longer politically relevant because of his desperation for power, pointing out that from all indications, Uzodinma worked to deliver APC and never colluded with the PDP.

He further insisted that the PDP won the election, and called on INEC, to issue certificate of Return to Emmanuel Okewulonu, the PDP Candidate.
