Mbaitoli APC: Ononuju, Eke, Ikpamezie harps for understanding, unity, support for Gov Uzodinma’s administration
Calls for massive registration

The Imo state commissioner for special projects, Hon. Barr Kingsley Ononuju, the Mbaitoli Interim Management Committee Chairman, Hon. John Eke, Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), General Manager, Engr. Ikpamezie Innocent have called for unity and understanding among members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) ahead of the kickoff of the All Progressive Congress APC registration exercise.
Barr. Kingsley Ononuju, Hon Innocent Ikpeamazie (GM OCDA), and Chief John Eke (IMC Chairman Mbaitolu) others in their separate submissions, extolled the good virtues of Gov. Hope Uzodimma who within 1 year in office have achieved quit alot; coupled with his elevation as leader of APC in South East Zone. This shows the capacity, trust and level of honesty bestowed on Uzodimma (political strategist) by leaders of APC in the zone.
They made the call during the APC Registratiom, mobilizattion and sensitization meeting hosted by the Imo state commissioner for special projects, Hon. Barr Kingsley Ononuju at the commissioners quaters on sunday.
They said power is from God and he gives it to the person he so wishes noting that such belief should be in the minds of those seeking for leadership positions in the party hence the need for all and sundry to come and work towards the success of the party.
According to them, the leader of the party In the state is govenor uzodimma.
They called on the party supporters to ensure that they get registered along with their families during the membership registration and to shun from acts capable of dividing the party or disrespecting the leader of the party.
In his remarks,Barr Kingsley Ononuju who anchored the event was elated at the massive turnout of Mbaitolu sons and daughters to show support and solidarity to the shared prosperity government of HE Gov. Hope Uzodimma.
The revered sons of Mbaitolu who took centre stage of the event admonished party leaders for their role in carrying all members along in scheme of things. They berated the activity of some scrupulous elements who are bent to cause havoc and mixed feelings in the party to desist hence forth.
Other leaders present at the event applauded his Excellency for his giant strides and appealed for inclusion of Mbaitolu in the scheme of project execution especially on road construction to relieve the suffering of the masses.
The meeting had in attendence creme de la creme, timbers and calibres, construction giants, captains of Industries, businessmen, former governorship candidates, government appointees and APC leaders from Mbaitolu extraction which includes; Dist. Rt Hon Rev Uche Nwole, Hon Chinonso Akabuo (SSAkn Entertainment), Hon Wilson Nwafor (SSA on Open Spaces market), Hon Innocent Ikpeamazie (GM OCDA), Barr Sir Chidi Akurunwa, Mr Chimaroke (Royal billion hotels), Chief Sir Chris Okoroegbe, Mr Chukwuma Ofoha (Ibari Ogwa), Engr Rawlings, Hon Obi Okenwa (winter suit), Chief John Eke (IMC Chairman Mbaitolu), Hon Ugochukwu Onwuseraka, Hon Osita Opara, Mr Emeka Ahaneku, Chief Collins Obi, Chief Chibuzo Onwuzurike amongst others.
Mbaitolu is one of the twenty-seven Local Government Areas that make up Imo State of Nigeria. It is actually located at the centre of the Eastern Heartland. It shares borders with the following Local Government Areas – Oguta and Oru to the West; Isu and Njaba to the North; lsiala-Mbano and Ikeduru to the East and Owerri Municipal, Owerri North and Owerri West to the South.
Mbaitolu as the name implies, comprises of originally, nine major towns, namely, Mbieri, Ogwa, Orodo, Ubomiri, Ifakala, Afara,. Umunoha, Ogbaku and Eziama – Obiato. Politically, Mbaitolu consists of twelve INEC Wards. It is in fact the largest Local Government Area in Imo State in terms of population density.
