…as Okorocha sets plans in motion to sack Uzodinma
An aide to Senator Hope Uzodinma, who spoke to MaaziTV, under a plea of anonymity, insists that Uzodinma is just starting, in a mission to render Okorocha totally irrelevant politically in the state.
Okorocha and Uzodinma have been locked in a battle for supremacy in the APC in the state, for so long, with Okorocha backing the Daniel Madueke Nwafor faction, and Uzodinma backing the Nlemigbo faction, which seems to have gained upper hand in the party in the state, over the Okorocha faction.
Okorocha’s refusal, to participate in the APC revalidation and registration exercise, seems to be giving indications, that Uzodinma had succeeded in pushing him out of the party, as Okorocha and his supporters may probably cease to be APC members, if they fail to revalidate their membership.
Already, Uzodinma had accused him of aligning with the PDP in the state.
The seizure of Okorocha’s property, and his subsequent humiliation by arrest, as well as the demolition of part of his radio station, all at the orders Senator Hope Uzodinma, lends credence to the claim by the aide, that Uzodinma was on a mission to effectively retire Okorocha politically in the state, and possibly put him behind bars, if all the recommendations of the Judicial panels set up to probe Okorocha, are strictly adhered to.
Okorocha on the other hand has set up plans in motion, to kick Uzodinma out of office, as his son-in-law, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, who was declared as the authentic candidate of the APC and AA, in the 2019 General Election, have approached the Supreme Court, to sack Uzodinma and reinstate Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, who was removed, following an alliance between Uzodinma, Okorocha and Senator Ifeanyi Araraume.
