“Rochas Okorocha Should Tender an Unreserved Apology To Imo People For Betrayal Of Trust, ” Obidike Nwagwu Esq Insists
Owerri based lawyer and popular political analyst and commenter, Obidike Nwagwu Esq, has taken a swipe at the former governor of Imo State, and Senator representing Orlu zone, Senator Rochas Okorocha, his family including his in- laws, as well as Okorocha’ s political associates, insisting that they owed Imo people an apology.
Speaking to Mercy Anaele of Verbatim News, Nwagwu insisted that Okororcha’ s family and political associates, robbed Imo State and brought untold hardship on the people the state.
” The report of the Judicial Panel of Enquiry on Lands is just a tip of the iceberg, ” Nwagwu stated. ” When other reports come in, you’ ll see just how much this man and his family ruined and robbed Imo State.
” No governor of Imo State, living or dead is ever this bad, and i can assure you, none afterwards will be this bad either.
” Mbakwe didn’ t even have a house, yet he built the Imo State we see today. Enwerem the same thing. Look at Udenwa, look at Ohakim. Udenwa owns only one house in Owerri at Civic Centre. Ohakim still lives in the house he built when he was a commissioner under Udenwa. Okororcha in eight years owns almost 10% of Imo State. One single person and his family.
” Make this man president of Nigeria, and he would rob land that would equal a state in size. We may have to sack people living in an entire state and relocate them to his lands, the give him the entire state.

” His son- in- laws, Uche Nwosu and Aham Anwuka were mentioned in the looting of our lands. Between Okorocha and his wife, I don’ t know which is more greedy. ” Imo people gave Okorocha their unreserved trust and this man called them fools. This man betrayed the trust given to him in his greed. Imo people thought Ohakim was their problem. They thought he was bad. They found out they made a big mistake in 2011, when they gave the real enemy of Imo people power.
” The worst thing that happened to Imo State was Rochas Okorocha and his family. The worst thing to happen to Nigeria, would be making the mistake of giving Okorocha and his family Presidential power. May God help us if that day ever happens. “
