The former Majority Leader of the Imo State House of Assembly, Mr. Uche Ogbuagu have distanced himself from WhatsApp message screenshots making the rounds, alleging that he and some members of the Imo State Assembly, were plotting to impeach the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.
Reacting on his Facebook page, the Ikeduru representative urged the public to disregard the messages, which claimed that Senator Uzodinma was underperforming, despite monies and loans collected.
The comedian cum politicain had won the House of Assembly election through the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, but jumped ship to the All Progressives Congress APC, after the Supreme Court removed Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha.
Trouble started for Ogbuagu when he was sacked as Majority Leader, following some reports of character unbecoming of his position.
He was recently suspended along with five other members from both the ruling party, as well as the opposition PDP.
