‘Despite Challenges, We Must Be Resilient’- Ezeani Tells Orlu Zone In September Message
The polymathic economist of the Eastern prideful senatorial zone of Orlu have today joyously welcomed his fellow Orlu people into the last quarter of the year.
The Hon. Dr. ThankGod Ezeani, (Ogbaturuenyi), in his communication to the Ezeani Media Center, conveyed his unrivaled happiness that the much of his people are at the least alive to cross joyously into this last quarter of the year (the ember months).
He expressed, quite deeply, that despite all that has happened- ranging from killings, to deaths, to the acute manifestations and effects of the pandemic, to the bad state of the economy ocassioned by the inefficiency of the government at the helm of affairs- the people of Orlu zone have yet emerged and remained triumphant, resilient and firm against these formidable circumstances.
“I am overly grateful that we do not look like what we have passed through in this few years in retrospect. Indeed, the times have proven extremely hard and unconsciousionable (because it could be better, had the right things been done), given the flagrant violations of the rule of law, blatant disregard of the human rights, and hampered state of security. Yet, above all, we raise our heads and wine glasses in thankfulness to the almighty God who kept and keeps us. We may not have been where we all hoped to be, had the right party been in power. But we are alive atleast. It is only the dead who are conscious of nothing, and who has no earthly hopes. We must continue to be courageous, to meet the tomorrow we pray for”, he concluded.
He prayed the entirety of Orlu zone to try as much as possible to have their permanent voter’s cards handy. He stressed that that is the only constitutional means of changing the present state of affairs, since the holders of the powers that be are overtly and everly reluctant to letting humanity a chance.
He charged all to continue to maintain the peace, while we await in joyful hope, to enthrone our government of the people.
In the final lap, he sent goodwill greetings to all the ranks and files of the PDP, and prayed the almighty God remain upon their various councils.
