Turkey Government Scholarship 2025 is here again. Turkiye scholarship programs cover a wide range of scholarships for their intending candidates. Which serves as a good opportunity for all international students who look forward to pursuing their academic achievement while exploring their academic needs. Intending candidates stands for getting admitted as long as they meet the requirements. Also, it’s a fully funded scholarship program for all international students.

Application process
There are five steps to this application:
Step 1: Create an account on the Turkiye Application system
- Applications can only be made individually through www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr by the candidates.
- Read the instructions carefully to avoid disqualification.
- Submit and upload the necessary documents to the application system.
- Applications delivered by post, courier, or by hand will not be accepted.
- Applications are free of charge.
- Türkiye Scholarships include both scholarship and university placement at the same time. Applicants will be placed in a university and program among their 12 preferences, which they choose in the application system.
Step 2: Upload all required documents. Documents required include:
- A valid National Identification Document or a valid Passport
- A recent Photo of the candidate (Please note that the photo you upload into the Application system must be a proper portrait of yourself; candidate photos which are not identifiable will undermine the evaluation of your application.)
- National exam scores (required for candidates who do not possess any international qualification or certification)
- Diploma or temporary certificate of Graduation
- Academic transcripts (online screenshots and uncertified transcripts will undermine the evaluation of your application)
- International exam scores (GRE, GMAT, DELF, YDS, YÖS, etc. if required by the chosen university & program)
- Language test scores (if required by the chosen university & program)
- A research proposal and an example of your written work (for PhD applicants only).
Criteria for Turkey Government Scholarship
- Required Language: English or Turkish
- Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries worldwide
Minimum academic requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree applicants must have at least 70% academic achievement.
- Master’s and doctorate applicants must have at least 75% academic achievement.
- Applicants for Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy) must have at least 90% academic achievement.
Age Requirements:
- Undergraduate programs: Applicants must be under 21 years old.
- Master’s programs: Applicants must be under 30 years old.
- Doctorate programs: Applicants must be under 35 years old.
Eligible Applicants:
- Citizens from any country
- Graduates or students who will graduate by August 2025
- Researchers and academicians
Ineligible Applicants:
- Turkish citizens and those who have renounced Turkish citizenship
- Students currently enrolled in Turkish universities for the same level of study they are applying for
Additional Requirements:
- Applicants must have a valid TOEFL or IELTS certificate to demonstrate English proficiency.
- It is advisable to provide an official academic transcript listing all completed courses, certificates, and grades.
- A Statement of Purpose (SOP) is required. Incomplete or weak SOPs may result in rejection.
- Applicants must be in good health with no medical conditions.
- Short-term scholarship programs may have additional application requirements, so ensure you check the specific criteria during the application period.
