Each scholarship award ranges between N100,000.00 and N500,000.00 per student, covering an academic session. The scholarship is renewable, provided recipients maintain a minimum CGPA of Second Class Lower Division for university students and Upper Credit for polytechnic students.
Qualified students of Northern Nigerian origin who secured admission into 100-level degree programs via JAMB and 200-level via Direct Entry are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible for the Ahmadu Bello Foundation Memorial Scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
1. Field of Study: Candidates must be enrolled in science or technology-related programs at a public university or polytechnic in Nigeria.
2. Admission Status: Applicants must have secured admission into a full-time undergraduate or Higher National Diploma (HND) program at an accredited institution.
3. Academic Requirements: Candidates must meet the institution’s and faculty’s minimum registration criteria as full-time students.
4. O’Level Results: A minimum of five credits, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings, is required.
5. State of Origin: Applicants must be indigenes of one of the 19 Northern Nigerian states or the Federal Capital Territory and must provide proof of state of origin.
6. Age Limit: Candidates must not be older than 25 years at the time of admission into the university or polytechnic.
